One of Charles Ives's lesser-known sets of short piano pieces is the 'Five Take-Offs' (1906), which obviously draw on other pieces by Ives. Deliberately misunderstanding Ives's meaning of take-off or parody, I chose to add-on whimsical commentaries to these five pieces.
